Habit
Stems 1-4 dm long, sparsely scabrid with small deflexed hairs.
Leaves
Lower leaves obovate-cuspidate, quickly withering, upper leaves oblanceolate, 5-20 mm long, 1-5 mm wide, apex mucronate.
Flowers
Flowers 4-10 per head; corolla 4-5 mm long.
Fruit
Fruit 2-7 mm long, scabrid.
