DistributionNative to Eurasia.In the Hawaiian Islands, naturalized on O`ahu, Moloka`i, Maui, Hawai`i.















Habit
Erect annual herbs 2-8 dm tall, ± sparsely crinkly pubescent and glandular pubescent at least above.
Leaves
Leaves oblanceolate to oblong, 2-4(-12) cm long, 0.4-1(-3.5) cm wide, pinnately veined, irregularly pinnatifid, sessile.
Flowers
Heads in terminal, paniculate cymes, radiate; involucre cylindrical, 5-7 mm high, principal bracts ca. 13, bracts and bracteoles green-tipped; ray florets 8-15, rays inconspicuous, yellow, ca. 1-2 mm long; disk corollas yellow, 4-5 mm long.
Fruit
Achenes ca. 2.5 mm long, sparsely appressed puberulent.
