Habit
Sparsely pubescent, aromatic annual or biennial herbs; outer stems prostrate, 1-4 dm long.
Leaves
Basal leaves oblong in outline, 3-10 cm long, deeply pinnatifid, the lobes dentate, stem leaves similar but shorter.
Flowers
Petals ca. 1 mm long; stamens 2.
Fruit
Silicles didymous, 2-2.5 mm wide, finely wrinkled.
