Epiphytic, occasionally terrestrial.
Leaves
Fronds with tendency to be smaller than the type variety; stipe densely covered with uniseriate hairs, most with amber or pale green, translucent glands at tips; blade, rachis, and costae densely covered with glandular and nonglandular hairs.
