Note: nom. nov. for Pterotropia kaalae Skottsb., non Tetraplasandra kaalae (Hillebr.) Harms. Holotype presumably destroyed. Sherff (1955) based this on Hillebrand's Pterotropia kavaiensis var. "beta". He indicates that the type for his variety was formerly at B, but later destroyed, and also lists several collections of Hillebrand's that may be iso(more...) [can't find nomen card 12/94].
