Note: We take Sherff's citation of the Hillebrand collection at B as the "type" to be a lectotypification; although Hillebrand cited only that collection, there is also a photo of a Lydgate collection at BISH that Hillebrand almost certainly used. Haas, Allertonia 1: 127 (1977) cited specimens at BM and US, but the only Hillebrand two collections at US labeled P. glomeratum do not have locality. Haas also cited Lydgate as the collector, but Hillebrand does not mention Lydgate, and Sherff cited Hillebrand as the collector.
