Note: Syntypes: Waimea, 1864-1865, H. Mann & W. T. Brigham 621 (BISH, GH); Kealia. Hillebrand cited 2 localities, and it's not known which locality GH sheet is from (not in GH online register). Need to borrow GH sheet before we can know for sure that BISH sheet is an isotype.
