Habit
Glabrous annual, rarely biennial or perennial, herbs; stems ascending to nearly prostrate, 4-10 cm long, many-branched.
Leaves
Leaves oblong to obovate, 5-10 mm long, 2-6 mm wide, stipules narrowly lanceolate.
Flowers
Sepals obovate to oblong, strongly keeled, 1.5-2 mm long; petals oblanceolate; stamens (1-)3-5.
Fruit
Capsules ovoid, ca. 1.5 mm long.
Seeds
Seeds pale brown, translucent, somewhat angled, ca. 0.5 mm long.
