DistributionNative to Eurasia, now naturalized in many areas.In the Hawaiian Islands, naturalized on Kure, Midway, O`ahu, Moloka`i, Maui, Hawai`i.
















Habit
Short-lived perennial herbs; stems grayish green, ascending or some decumbent, covered with appressed, branched hairs.
Leaves
Leaves linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 1-3 cm long, 0.1-0.4 cm wide.
Flowers
Flowers small, fragrant; petals ca. 3 mm long; staminal filaments with 2 unequally sized glands at base.
Fruit
Silicles obovate to suborbicular, 2.5-3.5 mm long, sparsely pubescent.
Seeds
Seeds 1 per cell, ellipsoid, compressed, 1-1.5 mm long.
