Habit
Small acaulescent perennial herbs from short rhizomes.
Leaves
Leaves erect or ascending, linear-oblanceolate, 1.5-10 cm long, (0.2-)0.3-0.7 cm wide, petioles 0.8-8 cm long.
Flowers
Flowers 2-6 on scapes 6-18 cm long; sepals 3.5-6 mm long; petals white, 4-7 mm long; styles (3)4-5.
Fruit
Capsules slightly exceeding the calyx, 5-7 mm long, dehiscing by as many valves as styles.
Seeds
Seeds dark brown, irregularly fusiform, ca. 1.2 mm long, the surface longitudinally striate.
