||Trees up to 10 m tall; young branches 1.5-3 mm in diameter toward apex, coarsely spreading to appressed hirtellous.
||Leaves chartaceous, elliptic to oblanceolate, 4-11(-14.5) cm long, 1.7-5.5(-7.5) cm wide, lateral veins 6-9 on each side of midrib, upper surface sometimes hirtellous at least on nerves, lower surface hirtellous at least on midrib, domatia somewhat elevated, porate, usually glabrous, often scattered over blade, margins often ciliate, apex acute to obtuse, base acute to obtuse or rounded, petioles 5-20 mm long, spreading to appressed hirtellous, stipules deltate to ovate, strongly imbricate in bud, 5.5-12 mm long, 2.5-5 mm wide, acute, upper surface villous toward base, lower surface appressed hirtellous.
