Habit
Spreading subshrubs from a creeping rootstock; stems sprawling, 5-10 dm long, sparsely puberulent.
Leaves
Leaves lanceolate to elliptic, 4-8(-12) cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, margins sharply serrate, petioles 0.5-1.3 cm long.
Flowers
Inflorescences lax; involucral bracts 4-5 mm long, puberulent; corollas white, 3-3.5 mm long.
Fruit
Achenes black, 1.5-2 mm long, puberulent on the angles.
