Verdcourt in Turland et Jarvis (Taxon 46: 469. 15 Aug 1997) designated the Plukenet plate (mentioned by Browne as well as by Linnaeus) as the lectotype of Dolichos urens.
Adanson (l.c. 579 and 620) mentioned Zoophthalmum Browne as a synonym of Mucuna, thus under Art. 14.4 of the Shenzhen 2018 Code, it always remains a synonym.
